Board member of the Middle East Facility Management Association (MEFMA), Ali brings with him a wealth of knowledge in public and private sector facilities management services. Ali overseas the strategy and management of Idama and spearheads the development and integration of FMS policies, practices and procedures, driving overall business growth and sustainability. An engineering graduate and MBA holder, Ali is an eloquent public speaker and a regular contributor to the media in topical matters relating to the facilities management sector. 

A mechanical engineer with over 9 years of experience in facility and property management, Khalid also also has extensive experience in construction and MEP projects in the UAE and GCC. He oversees the strategic, financial and operational Facility Management Operations of Dubai International Financial Center, and more than 100 clients within the communities. 

Bio-chemical engineering and a master in Environmental Science, Kamal’s career spans 22 years in the UAE across sectors. In Idama, Kamal manages more than 9.4million square foot of residential space in the landmark communities in Mirdif, Shurooq and Ghuroob.

With an educational background in Industrial Engineering, including a master in Quality Management, Mohamed has over 10 years of experience in Facilities Management. His work in Idama includes the management of mixed use and commercial communities, including TECOM’s DIC, DMC and KV communities as well as JBR, home of the UAE’s only beachfront shopping mall.  

Abdul Baqi has more than 25 years of experience in various industries with focus on Facility Management.  An electro mechanical engineer by profession, Abdul Baqi holds a master in Engineering specialising in electrical and electronics. Some of his responsibilities in Idama include defining, developing, executing and managing the strategy of residential communities. He also manages the financial, business planning and development of commercial engagement model.  

A real estate sector professional, Obaid holds MBA beside his qualifications in Engineering Management, Civil Engineering and Real Estate Management. Obaid has around 11 years of experience in Facilities Management, out of them 5 years in Dubai International Airport. In addition, he has served UAE Military for eight years in Engineering Construction Department. In his career Obaid has worked in a spectrum of sectors including residential, commercial, healthcare and mixed use developments. Obaid guides the implementation of the full asset management operation cycle, providing direction and support to his team.

Walid Ibrahim Kalantar joins Idama as Director – Business Development after serving as Security Superintendent at TECOM, where he had been working since 2001. One of his many achievements at TECOM was expanding DSG revenue by 50%. He has also expanded the business portfolio to includes prominent landmark in UAE. Mr.Kalantar has a Management degree from Cranfield School of management, Duba, UAE. He is also expert in managing, training and developing various institutions. Been instrumental in achieving ISO 9001: 2008
